SPECIALS CLASSES

At John Trumbull Primary School, we follow an A-E schedule where your child gets to explore, create, move, groove, and discover something new every day through our exciting Unified Arts classes! From making music and creating art to moving their bodies, exploring computers and technology, and discovering new ways to express themselves, our students have opportunities to learn, play, and shine beyond the traditional classroom. Each day brings a new adventure, helping our young learners build confidence, creativity, curiosity, digital skills, and a love for learning along the way!

Our STEAM classes provide high-interest science instruction while integrating technology, engineering, arts, and math. Students explore scientific concepts through experiments, creative play, problem-solving, and collaboration.

In music class with Ms. Zemaitis and Mrs. Buzzelli, we sing, play, create, move, and explore together- building our musical skills while having fun every step of the way! From singing and keeping a steady beat to playing instruments, creating music, and discovering music from around the world, there is always something exciting happening in our classroom.

We believe music should be tuneful, beatful, and artful every day! Our goal is to help every student find their musical voice, build confidence, and experience the joy of making music together.

Mr. Loyer and Mr. McQueeney create a PE experience where young children can move, play, learn, and grow in a positive and supportive environment. Through developmentally appropriate activities, they help students build fundamental motor skills while also developing confidence, cooperation, sportsmanship, and a love of physical activity.
